The Monroe #8 Country School House

 

Located on Highland Street, east of the Bear Trap Mall and North of The Barn Mall, this little country school house stands waiting for your visit!

 

This little building once served the children of Monroe township  in Shelby county, but today it is maintained as a museum by the Walnut Historical Society.

 

Hours of Operation:  Please visit the Welcome Center for tour information

Admission:  Free Will donations greatly appreciated!
